Job Description
Provide efficient operation of the Help Desk function including all aspects of customer relations, processing work requests from user Departments, information gathering, data processing and reception duties, in order that the Site Services Department delivers a cost effective service that responds to the needs of the customer.
- Receive telephone calls, e-mails and intranet calls from customers / colleagues
- Raise work orders and allocate work priorities in accordance with departmental guidelines
- Liaise with Trade Supervisors to ensure works are completed to deadline
- Call out contractors for service to Trust equipment
- Data input for Excel spreadsheets
- Receive visitors and issue access keys / cards in accordance with current security and induction arrangements
- Provide various administration support to the Department as directed by the appropriate Apprentice mentor(s)
Personal Qualities :
Applicants need to be available 5 days per week and work well under pressure.
Skills Required :
Successful applicants in this role will have great communication skills and a great work ethic. Applicants will preferably have some administrative or customer service experience. You will be reliable, flexible and able to effectively manage priorities.
