Our Employer:

Our employer is based in Bromsgrove and provides IT support and services for businesses across the Midlands.

They are looking for two super passionate IT enthusiasts to join their team as apprentices.

The apprentices will complete the following duties:

· Offering 1st line support to customers

· Using the ticketing system to manage incoming issues

·Providing c omprehensive technical support

· Proactively updating customers with call status and resolution progress

· Escalating potential service issues as and when necessary

· Going out and dealing with problems on site

· Providing a friendly and helpful first point of contact for clients

· Hardware and software installations

These are fantastic opportunities for individuals who have a real passion for IT and technology.

The employer is looking for an apprentice to train in the business and develop their skills and ideally progress into a full time member of staff on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

The idea candidate will spend time developing and improving their own technical skills - this might be building your own computer or researching new technologies online.

Requirements:

Successful applicants will:

· Have grade C/4 or above in English and maths GCSE (or equivalent), or Functional Skills Level 2

· Be able to attend our training Academy in Birmingham weekly for your classroom-based days

  • Good IT knowledge
  • Desire to achieve
  • Confidence

Applicants should have a desire to develop and enhance their skills whilst working in a supportive company. This role is ideal for anybody who has a genuine passion for working within an IT environment and that is keen to learn and progress in their own professional development.
