Job Description

Identify your strengths. Learn from inspirational women. Find where you belong.

Want to take ownership over your career journey? Want the support to share your voice? Looking for a platform to propel you into the future? Hear advice and stories from our female leaders on their career journeys, in your chosen service line, while learning how to showcase your strengths. Propel your business career with helpful tips from recruiters.

What will you be doing?

Across the day, you’ll take part in virtual workshops, panel events and discussions featuring high-achieving women from across EY. As well as learning about their stories, you’ll pick up great advice to help you sculpt your own career. You will also be able to choose from the following service lines:

Women in Strategy and Transactions

Here, you’ll hear from multiple people and gain an insight into our company, core values and our Strategy and Transaction business area. You’ll explore the multiple sub-services within this area, and see where you could fit within it.

Women in Tax

Here, you’ll get all your questions about the world of Tax answered by our experts, while enjoying the chance to network with them. You’ll hear from female partners in Tax, identifying with their experiences and learning from their journeys. And, you’ll see how you can use your degree to excel in our Tax business area, as well as learning about the soft skills needed to propel your career and develop the right relationships along the way.

Women in Assurance

Here, you’ll learn how to develop your professional and personal strengths – going beyond studies to get a real sense of life in Assurance. These soft skills can be used throughout your remaining time at university and into the future. You’ll also hear about the work we do with clients big and small from our female partners in Assurance – who will speak with you directly. And, you’ll get a feel for this business area by taking part in discussions and exploring your interests in our workshops.

There’ll also be Q&As with our people and networking events. If you make a great impression, you may get the chance to be fast-tracked onto one of our summer internships or industrial placements.

Entry requirements

You will need to be in your first year of a three-year course, or your second year of a four-year course, at university. We operate an open access policy, meaning we don’t screen out applications on your academic performance alone. You will, however, need to be working towards an Honours degree in any subject – some programmes will require a subject relevant to the business area – have a minimum of grade 4/C GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths, and three A-levels/Five Highers (or equivalent) to be eligible to apply.

“It was very relevant as it allowed me to further establish how interested I am in pursuing a career in the industry – and specifically EY itself after hearing from employees about why they enjoy working at the firm as well as the wide range of opportunities available to progress in your career.” Rate My Placement, Discover EY – Women in Strategy and Transactions
