Job Description

The successful candidate will learn all aspects of Painting & Decorating within a commercial & residential environment, whilst working towards achieving a Level 2 Standard Painter and Decorator.



Due to residential site and commercial site work you will be required to travel, you will need to have your own vehicle and a clean driving license.



Duties Include:




  • The candidate will be involved in all areas from start to finish, including preparing walls, floors, doors, skirting boards and ceilings

  • Preparing materials, deciding what the best paint or shade of paint to use

  • Measuring, cutting and pasting on wallpapers with a high attention to detail

  • High level of customer service when dealing with clients

  • Preparing surfaces

  • Hand spraying and spray painting

  • Ensuring work is completed to a high professional standard

  • You will be working as part of a team and also by yourself so good communication is required

  • The ideal candidate will need to be able to cope with physical demands of the role and have a head for heights as part of the role will involve working on scaffold platforms indoors and outdoors
