Job Description
Duties will include:
- Complete all aspects of the SAS apprentice training scheme
- To become proficient in the use of Inventor software with the required training. Previous experience preferable but not essential
- Undertake design works using the latest AutoCAD software with the aim of understanding the full integration of products
- Develop design skills, particularly problem solving and critical analysis
- Provide after sales design support as required
- Work in a timely and efficient manner
- Carry out any reasonable requests of management
- To represent the company in a professional manner, including site visits where there is a requirement, displaying teamwork and correct attitude towards clients and colleagues
- To work within the Company Management Systems, processes and procedures to fully comply with all standards, legislation, governance and specifications
- To ensure the strategic direction, quality, environmental, health and safety policies are understood and where required the objectives, targets and key performance indicators are measured, evaluated and reported to demonstrate continuous improvement of the management system
- To ensure all activities enhance customer satisfaction and meet the requirements of all interested parties
- To ensure all activities reduce or eliminate pollution to land, sea and air
- To promote and use the philosophy of reduce, re-use or recycle of all wastes, materials and products
