Job Description
Reporting to the Depot Manager duties will include:
- Daily checks
- Forklift loading and unloading
- Clerical duties and telephone work
- Additional duties will include stock control
- Ordering and dispatch of goods
- Maintenance of price lists for internal and external use
- Internal communication with colleagues and external communication with customers
Also assisting the transport department with filing and vehicle maintenance schedules. Further duties include the management of waste notes, preparation of quotes and invoices.
Personal Qualities :
- Flexibility in time to work early or late as required
Skills Required :
- Use of email and Microsoft office software
- Knowledge and use of social networking for media releases
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Future Prospects :
On successful completion of the apprenticeship there is a possibility of a future job role.
