We work alongside major battery and power electronics manufactures securing the biggest brands and best-known market leading products.



Battery Dynamics are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis to work within our regional office based in Barnsley.



This an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long term career within a growing national business.




  • Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse

  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in stock/equipment/products

  • Locate and transport assets within the warehouse

  • Training provide for use of a reach truck

  • Arrange onward transportation of assets to manufacturers, service providers, recyclers, as appropriate

  • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually/electronically May also assist in counting of physical inventory

  • Record and communicate results of visual examinations in the required format, sometimes carrying out basic mechanical works

Apprentices must show commitment to the following:




  • To achieve apprenticeship framework (Functional Skills, NVQ and Technical Certificate) within the specified time frame

  • Attend the apprenticeship induction programme

  • Attend all of the training sessions for the programme whenever necessary

  • Undertake any other required development work as part of the apprenticeship programme as requested

  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff

  • Apprenticeships start throughout the year and are open to any age of candidate

  • It is important that qualifications are listed on your application no matter what the grade, as your application is sifted and sent to the employer based on meeting the Employer’s Vacancy Criteria
