- You’ll learn all the skills you need to ensure your submarine has everything it needs to be operationally effective, regardless of the rigours of the highly classified mission you’re deployed on
- Learn about managing a complex global supply chain, and how to source the items you need, all over the world
- Learn additional skills as an Incident Board operator, helping damage-control teams fight fires and floods
A submarine’s first defence is stealth, so giving away its position is a huge consideration. Trips to the surface are for food supplies and your crewmates’ morale. These vital factors, and millions of pounds-worth of equipment, are in your hands.

You’ll start your naval career as an Able Rate. With experience and further training, you could be promoted to Leading Hand and beyond.
