Job Description
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering challenging and exciting activities with and for children
- Understanding how to develop relationships with children, enabling them to be comfortable in their surroundings
- Providing an environment where they can play and explore
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care and education
- Delivering rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
- Planning and providing effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school
- Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of children
- Working in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or careers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
- Making accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children
- Following instructions and taking guidance to support own development within the EYFS setting
- To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the school leadership team

- Ability to demonstrate and promote good practice in line with the ethos of the school both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, whilst ensuring children, colleagues, parents and carers are respected and listened to
- Effectively communicate with adults and children
- Good written, verbal and non-verbal communication
- Experience of working in Early Years in a school environment is desirable although not essential
