Job Description

Duties and responsibilities will include:




  • Responsibility for defined delivery schedules daily, ensuring efficiencies are maximised, whilst meeting all required service levels

  • To ensure workload is balanced across the entire resource base

  • To ensure the scheduling software is regularly maintained and all parameters and rules are accurate, also providing suggestions and resolutions for ongoing problems

  • Ensuring all telemetry accounts are monitored and deliveries planned accordingly and any technical problems are reported to the relevant person/department

  • To provide suggestions to the Resource coordinator regarding CSO and truck allocation, in line with ever changing customer requirements and altering demands of the fleet

  • To ensure CSO hours are managed closely, in line with the working time directive, and that hours are managed locally as well as across the UK ensuring resources are fully utilised and managed accordingly

  • Assist with day to day resource changes, ensuring relevant departments are communicated to and resource worksheets are maintained accurately

  • To ensure all emergency requests are answered within specified timelines and SLAs are always adhered to, reporting any potential deviation from this to the necessary authority

  • Ensuring all required daily reports are completed within a timely manner, and any actions from these reports are communicated accurately

  • To agree and coordinate new customer requests, particularly commission fill requirements, liaising with internal and external parties

  • To provide constant phone availability for Planning related requirements, including Customer Service as well as CSO’s and Field Operations

  • To work additional and differing shifts at the request of the Liquid Scheduling Manager and in line with the operational needs of the business
