The Apprentices' Roles: 



Riverside Community School is a popular and expanding school in a wonderful location. The School is looking to appoint 4 Teaching Assistant Apprentices to work, learn and develop themselves within their Early Years, Year 1 & 2 and SEN departments.




  • You will be required to support individual pupils with a range of educational needs

  • In small groups of pupils in a wide range of areas including academic, social and emotional needs.

  • Plan and manage their own administration.



The people appointed will need to be positive, flexible, hardworking and energetic. They will be joining a well-established and supportive team. Previous experience of this role is desirable and you should be willing to undertake training where required.



Commitment to an apprenticeship is essential and you will be required to undertake 20% Off The Job Training.


Personal Qualities :

  • Riverside Community School are looking for someone who is passionate and shows genuine interest surrounding working with and the learning and development with children.

  • You will need to be able to work as part of a team, be punctual, show confidence and reliability as well as having a strong work ethic

  • The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and all staff require an enhanced DBS disclosure
