This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone looking for a supportive and challenging apprenticeship in a growing Fire Protection company. The suitable individual will be exposed predominantly to our estimating department, however, there will be opportunities to gain insight into other areas of the business, and alternative interests will be supported.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team. This role will give you the experience of carrying out a real job with real responsibility, coupled with a focus on training and development. The role is geared toward training the right candidate to become a supporting estimator/ business developer.
Duties will include:
- Day to day administrative tasks
- Material take offs
- Reading and interpreting specifications
- Understanding drawings and sales enquiries
- Excel spreadsheet input
- Word document preparation
- Liaising with key suppliers
- Contacting clients to discuss enquiries and quotations
- Database maintenance
- Organising and chasing estimating enquiries
- Social media updates
