Job Description
Mechatronics apprentice required to work with our maintenance team carrying out the following duties:
- Perform fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment including PLC's, complex electrical control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and software where possible
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities
- Conduct more complex programming activities on press / robotic equipment
- Investigate breakdown causes and make recommendations or countermeasures, including preparing technical reports
- Support equipment commissioning and installation projects
- Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe health and safety at all times

Skills Required :
- Good written and verbal communications

- Previous engineering studies would be advantageous

Apprentices who complete the scheme are held in high regard and often progress to senior management level.
