Job Description
The apprentice will be working within the IT Department as part of an IT Services Team and will be responsible for:
- Troubleshooting IT issues in the classrooms and offices
- Configuring and installing new equipment and software
- Troubleshooting classroom interactive white boards and peripherals
- Setting up and maintaining printers and photocopiers including replacing toners
- Liaising with suppliers
- Up-grading computer systems
- Resetting passwords
- Support for all hardware and software
- Provide guidance to staff and students in the use of equipment
- To maintain records of all hardware and software licence agreements and to use the appropriate documentation systems
- To ensure all incidents and requests are logged in the appropriate systems
