There are 14 Housing with Care schemes some of which specialize in helping people with similar needs, for example schemes for people with mental health support needs or those with brain injury, whilst other support people who have more generic needs associated with age related infirmities.

The post holder will work as part of a team to provide support to service users in all aspects of daily living. This will include supporting service users to engage in activities, to maintain relationships, to undertake domestic tasks, to shop and prepare meals and to support with personal care. All support will be provided with dignity and respect and promote maximum opportunities for choice and independence.

You will learn to work to personalised care plans, in conjunction with other team members, ensuring service users' needs, strengths, interests and goals are identified and realised. You will support service users to build on their strengths and develop skills and make choices as to how they live their lives.

You will need to be flexible and ready to adjust your way of working to meet service users' needs. You will have good communication skills and the ability to think creatively and demonstrate enthusiasm to support service users to meet their goals.
