Immediate Media has a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to join our team and help us publish content for our 40+ different brands.

As a Digital Production Apprentice, you'll be working alongside our Software Development and App Marketing teams, and benefit from the experience from both teams while completing your apprenticeship in Content Production. You'll also gain highly beneficial experience of a fast-moving industry sector and develop inter-personal and professional skills.



Working within the Apps and Digital Editions team you will assist in the day-to-day production and distribution of content to many different platforms including Apple, Google Play, Kindle Fire and other mobile device platforms. This will include:




  • Publishing Digital Editions of Magazines

  • Producing, curating and distributing digital content

  • Updating and editing promotional and marketing material

  • Assisting editorial teams in the methods of producing digital content

  • Administration and maintenance of the platform delivery portals and app store back end management systems

  • User Testing new products and ideas



The Apprenticeship



You'll be working towards the "Junior Content Producer" standard as described here. You'll generally work from our brand-new office situated in the centre of Bristol for four days a week, and for the other day you'll attend off-site training and workshop session where you'll develop core skills and work towards building your portfolio and attaining your final qualification.



After the 12-month apprenticeship you will undertake an End Point Assessment. This will be combined with your portfolio and count towards your final qualification.
