About the Role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit an CPA (Automotive Assessor) to support our training operation for BMW.

You will coach learners in the workplace, based at various BMW Dealerships across the region, to ensure they are competent in respect to their qualification and job requirements, and also to coach Managers and Mentors in the workplace to ensure learners are provided with every opportunity to learn/gain experience.

Other duties will include:

  • To assess the competence of learners following Apprenticeship Frameworks.
  • To track and monitor learner progression to ensure timely achievement of Frameworks.
  • To proactively identify and implement opportunities to add value to our customer and our business.
  • To work as part of the Academy team to ensure high levels of service across the Academy as a whole are maintained.
  • To work towards achievement of Key Performance Indicators such as OOF Learners, Recruitment Targets, Overall/Timely Achievement.
  • Provide Babcock and BMW with management reports as required and requested


What do I need to do the role?

  • You'll need experience in training/coaching apprentices
  • Experience in awarding body Internal Quality Assurance - highly desirable
  • Knowledge of operations within the Automotive sector, and the retailer environment,
  • Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) Grades C or above in Maths and English

What else do I need to know?

  • This role will be field based across the region, with a base at Reading, Berkshire
