Job Description

Junior Finance Planning Analyst

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join CIPHR, a fast growing SaaS business. This is an entry level analyst / accountant role with study support for CIMA or equivalent.

Jr Finance Planning Analyst Responsibilities:

- Responsibilities include producing key financial analysis, reporting and modelling which will help drive business decisions. This position will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager and entail working closely with our Finance team of 10 as well as management across all functional areas of the business.
- Maintaining the data cube (from a user perspective) to generate multi-level analysis with enhancements to include product and sector information.
- Provide detailed MRR (monthly recurring revenue) reporting including new business, existing business and churn analysis.
- Reporting on existing KPIs using Excel and / or PowerBI and will cover both financial and non-financial based metrics that help drive business success.
- Other ad-hoc analysis including sales pipeline, sales conversion and pricing.
- Support the FP&A manager in developing the reporting in the monthly Board paper and internal MI (management information) dashboards.
- Monitor companies house filings by competitors and others.

Jr Finance Planning Analyst Requirements:

- Keen to learn.
- Keen to study CIMA or equivalent (ACCA, etc.).
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- A numerate worker coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
