Job Description
The purpose of the role is to provide support to the existing finance team so that the team as a whole are able to provide a better & more responsive service to the business. Taking on a variety of tasks in all areas of the department, the role will develop skills & knowledge that are specific to the business and not widely available in the market, providing succession planning and resilience to the department.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Covering all areas of the department over time, including:
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing purchase invoices & payments
- Daily data checking / reporting
- Processing sales invoices & receipts
- Management accounting & reporting
- VAT & Payroll compliance
- Statutory accounting & reporting

Skills Required :
Essential
- Numeracy, and confidence with numerical problem solving
- Fluency of English language
- Good verbal / written communication skills

- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word or Outlook
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel
