At the heart of our camps situated within our beautiful secluded woodland estates, our Field Chefs are responsible for preparing our delicious approved meals from our menu, catering for our residential students and staff members. Working with us you will have a unique experience to cook in our outdoor kitchens, over our camp fires and use our pizza ovens inspiring and introducing children to food giving them a truly unique wilderness experience they’ll never forget.

Rates of Pay (For 2019):

The Bushcraft Company is a leading provider of outdoor education, offering residential trips to students across 10 secluded beautiful woodland estates, from Yorkshire to Kent, our outdoor jobs are all about a love of adventure, education, fun and of course the great outdoors. As an outdoor residential provider our season runs from the beginning of May – October, we have students ages 7-17 years-old come to our woodlands throughout this time.
Selection & Appointment Process: Candidates will be required to complete The Bushcraft Company pre-camp training programme. All appointments are subject to satisfactory training attendance, references and enhanced DBS Status.
The Bushcraft Company is committed to safe practice in recruitment and selection that includes consideration of issues regarding child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. All staff will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS check if they are not already on the DBS Update Service and supply us with references
