Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
Working within the Finance department using Microsoft packages and internal systems to efficiently assist with the day to day office accounting functions. The successful applicant will have the desire to continue any accounts studies they may be undertaking or to embark on a relevant course of study.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input & analysis of financial documentation for the organisation
- Coding of invoices to correct locations within internal systems using Xero accounts package
- Using internal systems to process invoices, purchase orders and sales orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Set up of new supplier and customer accounts
- Chase customer payments
- Processing of online repair orders
- Filing of customer and supplier invoices using correct locations to ensure ease of access
- Liaison with the Sales team and Operational departments to ensure all relevant data is captured to produce accurate and timely customer invoices, purchase and sales orders
- Using respectful and clear communications to respond to calls and emails

Skills Required :
- Excellent Excel and Microsoft office skills
- Use of Xero accounts package (desirable)
- Understands the principles of Financial impact
- Has an investigative mind and pays attention to detail
Future Prospects :
Completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent position for the right person.
