Requirements & Qualifications
You will need to have obtained or studying towards a 2:1 in any degree discipline, and have graduated by September 2020, as well as achieved 104 (260 pre-2017) UCAS points for your A levels (or equivalent), a grade 4 (C) in English language and a grade 6 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).
Please note that our degree subject requirements vary for a few specialist roles within IT Services and therefore we recommend that you review the specific academic requirements at the Business Area Selection stage of the process.

Within ITS, we ultimately serve the needs of our internal colleagues to enhance the employee experience within Deloitte. As an internally facing department, our main partnerships are with our business areas in Consulting, Tax, Audit, Risk Advisory and Financial Advisory. We are also part of a broader North South Europe (NSE) team and we work closely with all countries to collaborate on large scale projects. You will also be working with a broad range of external companies from innovative start-ups to the tech giants.

We have graduate opportunities across the following IT Services teams: Information Security Operations/Architecture, Information Security Risk, ITS Service Management, Business Engagement and Digital Services.

Your opportunity
You’ll get to work with and learn from some of the most talented and experienced professionals in the industry. Each of our IT Services functions offers fascinating engagements, inspirational colleagues, and every opportunity to explore, develop and grow:

Information Security Operations/Architecture: The ITS Security Operations function acts as the 1st Line of Defence and supports the internal Service Lines:

  • You will work alongside talented and experienced Senior Security and Architecture professionals giving you support and an opportunity to learn and challenges that will help you grow.
  • You will also get to assist in security investigations and Cyber Defence tactics helping us protect the firm.
  • You will get to have your say on the development of architecture standards, opportunities to analyse & review security architecture designs, proposed solutions and assist in rolling them out to the wider firm.
  • Additionally you will be given the opportunity to work on a succession of wide ranging security projects & Cyber Acceleration Programmes throughout the year, in and around the UK helping deliver global Security capability.

Information Security Risk: Information Security within Deloitte provides amazing opportunities to help protect all parts of the organization from the growing cyber and information security threat landscape. You will understand what specific security threats are relevant to Deloitte and the industry sector and how we ensure that every part of the business is adequately protected from security breaches that are currently affecting so many organisations.
As well as learning how organisations such as Deloitte protect themselves from the growing landscape of information and cyber security threats, you will also get to work with all lines of the business and IT functions. This will mean that you will have the opportunity to fully understand how Deloitte operates.

ITS Service Management: In the Service Management team you will be required to work as part of various Service Management functions supporting a range of ITS operational activities, all with the common goal of providing our internal ITS customers a world-class customer experience.

Business Engagement: You will get to work within a highly-motivated team of Business Analysts and Business Relationship Managers, working directly with our Service Lines. Business Analyst duties include creating business cases and mapping out business processes. You will also run interactive workshops and support innovation within Deloitte. Business Relationship Management will focus on stakeholder and demand management, and provide the opportunity to work alongside senior business leaders in delivering transformative technology.

Digital Services: Our specialist Digital Services Team sits within Internal Technology Services (ITS) and is an integral part of the firm’s innovation agenda. Our aspiration is to solve difficult business challenges and improve colleague productivity through innovation and technology. To achieve this, the Digital Services Team uses a Lean Start-up approach with Agile methodologies to rapidly ideate, test and deploy innovative solutions and technologies to all service lines.
