Role - Trainee Conveyancer / Legal Assistant / Law Graduate
Location - Central Manchester

CURRENT EXPERIENCE: You will have experience working in a busy office environment - in Legal; Customer Service; Call Centre; Banking or similar and will be now seeking to use the skills & experience to move into a long term Legal career.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Attaching legal correspondence to files electronically;
    • Dealing with legal enquiries;
    • Proactively chasing third parties; and
    • Chasing sale memorandum's, landlords details, initial payments for searches, obtaining copies of client identification;
    • Obtaining redemption statements;
    • Confirming instructions.
    • Manage a small caseload of simple freehold transactions (circa 40) under direct supervision of the Team Leader/Conveyancing Manager, until such time as your manager deems it appropriate to increase your portfolio of cases.
    • Core hours are Mon-Fri from 9am - 5pm, however shifts outside of these hours such as 10am -6pm, 11am - 7pm & 12am - 8pm may be required from time to time.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS - You will be able to l iaise with clients, recommenders, conveyancers, agents and third parties. This will include communication in person, in writing, or by telephone.
