Job Description

This Apprentice / Graduate / Trainee Level 1 Helpdesk support role is an exciting opportunity within a nationwide organisation. You will be responsible for solving 1st line troubleshooting issues while collaborating closely with the Service Operations Analysts, Level 2 and Level 3 helpdesk analysts.

Roles & Responsibilities of the Apprentice / Graduate / Trainee / Level 1 Helpdesk support:
*Responding to customer queries
*Raising tickets on the helpdesk
*Routing escalation calls
*Progressing helpdesk tickets through the internal portal to other members of the team
*Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by the employer and provider.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge of the Apprentice / Graduate / Trainee / Level 1 Helpdesk support:
*Good communication skills
*Confidence in their own abilities
*Understanding of basic IT
*Knowledge of installing and updating software and hardware would be beneficial but not essential
*Good team player
*Willingness to learn
*Being able to take the initiative
*Salary, Hours & Benefits:

What will the successful Apprentice / Graduate / Trainee / Level 1 Helpdesk support receive?
*£16,500 - £20,000 basic salary
*Monday - Friday 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM (Can be flexible for transport needs)
*21 days holiday which increases with service plus 8 bank holidays
*A day's holiday on your birthday
