Who will you be working for?

The business you will be working for is one of the largest players in their industry. They are a group of electrical distribution companies with a vast range of customers across industries including hotels/leisure, construction, electrical contractors and retail. They already employ over 4,500 people across hundreds of UK locations and are well-established and highly respected.

What will you be doing?

Due to continued growth, this successful group are now looking for a bright, motivated and business-minded Trainee to join their Credit Control department at their Regional Office in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow.

You will:

  • Receive tailored training
  • Join a diverse team
  • Work closely with the Regional Credit Manager
  • Build relationships with a wide range of customers, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Negotiate with customers
  • Solve problems and manage projects to continuously improve operations
  • Manage your own diary

How will you be rewarded?

As a Trainee within their Credit Control department, you will receive:

  • A starting salary between £18,000 - £22,000 which will increase with experience
  • Your cut of the company's profits in the form of an uncapped bonus

What are the requirements?

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be passionate about business and results with strong numerical skills

  • Experience working within credit control not required but customer service/sales experience would be beneficial
