Job Description
We are looking for a receptionist/admin apprentice to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in our busy office.
The successful applicant will have appropriate office-based experience and be efficient, self-motivated as well as having good attention to detail. They will have good inter-personal skills and a desire to grow with the company and develop their skill set.
It is a full time role, working Monday to Thursday between 9.00am and 5.00pm and Fridays from 9.00 until 4.00pm (39 hours)
Duties to include:
- Office admin including scanning, filing, data entry, DVLA/DVSA administration
- To cover reception as necessary
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Perform other clerical/administrative duties as required

- The ability to work as part of a team but also the confidence to work on your own initiative when necessary

- Good ICT skills (including confident use of Microsoft Office)
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Good interpersonal skills
Future Prospects :
- Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be a permanent role available for the right candidate
