Job Description
Administration of learner support funds, admissions, and support information:
- Handling post and sending letters
- Performing reception/telephone/e-mail duties
- Data entry
- General administration such as filing, printing, and scanning
- Updating application data
- Providing professional and efficient reception services
- Facilitating meetings and preparing relevant paperwork
- Supporting open events and activities for prospective and current students
- Maintain excellent recordkeeping
- Contribute to the full admissions and induction programme
- Undertake regular training to keep up to date with legislation and information
- Participate in college marketing events e.g. open evenings and open days
- Ensure appropriate referral to other areas of the college for advice and support
- Work flexibly across sites including evenings and Saturdays as required
- Identify any safeguarding issues and make appropriate referrals either internally or to external agencies working in conjunction with the designated safeguarding officer
- Any other duties that ensure the smooth running of the business such as keeping work areas clean and tidy

Skills Required :
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Understand confidentiality regulations and procedures although training will be provided
