Job Description

SCL are looking for a passionate and organised Club Leader to run their Breakfast and After School Clubs at South Ascot Primary School in Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 9EA.

As an After School Club Supervisor you will be responsible for delivering a programme of activities within a Breakfast and an After school club setting. You will also be responsible for the wellbeing of the children in your care and making sure that the SCL team develop strong relationships with children, parents and school staff.

Please note this vacancy is based at South Ascot Primary School (Ascot, SL5 9EA) with a September 2019 start date. We also have have three assistant vacancies within Ascot all with a September 2019 start date.
- Ascot Heath School (Ascot, SL5 8PN) Breakfast Club 7.45am-9am and After School Club 2.45-6pm

-Ascot Heath School (Ascot SL5 8PN) After School Club 2.45pm-6pm

-South Ascot Primary School (Ascot, SL5 9EA) 2.45pm-6pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise After School Club Assistants and apprentices, making sure staff provide regular feedback to children, parents and school staff.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and fun activities at Breakfast (7.45-8.45) and After School Clubs (2.30 - 6.00pm).
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children at all times, ensuring the registration process and club ratios are adhered to.
  • Complete and record all necessary club admin as required.

Do you have what we are looking for?

  • Portray the SCL values – Passionate, Inspirational, Excellent and Reliable
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Playwork/Childcare - if not we will put you on this course!
  • Have previous experience working in a childcare setting and an understanding of Ofsted requirements.
  • Be engaging, fun and energetic with children aged between 4 - 12 years.
  • Be a people person with fantastic communication and motivational skills.
  • Have an enhanced DBS check.
