Multi-skilled Operative Apprentice (Fixed term)

Salary: £14,250
Job Type: Full Time, 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 39 per week
Location: Blackburn

About the role:

The Apprentice multi-skilled operative will undertake a wide range of repairs basic work and maintenance on all Great Places property types whilst observing and assisting the qualified operative with more complex tasks or jobs. Reporting to the Repairs Field Manager, this post will work under the daily supervision of a competent and qualified operative who will provide instruction, guidance, mentoring support and role related training. The apprentice will also ensure they maximise attendance at college and proactively participate in the Growing Greatness programme whilst demonstrating commitment to completing their apprenticeship.

About You:

The successful candidate will be a self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team and qualified to minimum GCSE grade 4/d or equivalent in English and maths. This is a requirement to meet the key criteria for and undertake training as required under the Apprenticeship programme.

You will prioritise workload and manage a number of tasks concurrently and be able to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner. You should be able to interact with a wide range of people such as colleagues and other stakeholders to give information / find information and resolve problems.

You should have the ability to work flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours.

You may have experience of the following: Administration Apprenticeship, Apprentice, Apprenticeship, Apprentice Administrator, Trainee Scheme, Training Scheme, Administrator, Administration, Admin Assistant etc
