Trainee Payroll Assistant

£18,000

Are you an enthusiastic, diligent individual with a passion for numbers? Are you a recent school leaver looking for the first step in your career? Then our client based in Leatherhead has the perfect position for you!

Our client is an International firm of Chartered Accountants looking for an individual to join their ever-growing team as a Trainee Payroll Assistant, this position provides an excellent study support for the successful individual wanting to study towards their CIPP . This individual will not have to have any prior experience within this sector but will need good A Level and GCSE grades. Our organization is looking for an individual with the aspirations to kick start a career within payroll and HR and someone who is happy to put their head down and work hard!

Duties will include:

  • Preparing client payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis
  • Issuing payroll changes
  • Providing management information
  • Providing security payslips
  • Advising customers of the necessary payments to be made
  • Providing a set up service for customers

The position will predominantly involve supporting the Business Services Group in delivering an outstanding payroll and HR service to clients. If you are hoping for a career within a chartered accountants, this position would provide you with the vital experience and skills in order to take the next step later on in your career. Full training will be given initially in the work place, this will then move onto formal training to study towards the professional qualification e.g. CIPP.

Our clients' biggest priority is providing the best support possible for their clients so this individual would have to be highly organised, have the ability to manage different priorities and you would need to have strong IT skills.
