Job Description

Based between Peterborough premises at Orton Southgate and the University of Lincoln campus at Holbeach.

Our patented Steam Infusion technology introduces steam at 1,000 m/s, transforming the way manufacturers heat and mix food products and delivering significant energy and processing savings.



We now need a highly motivated technical sales apprentice to assist the Technical Sales Lead in discovering new potential customers and business development opportunities.



You will need to:




  • Conduct lead generation activities

  • Engage customers via email and telephone

  • Assist with enquiries by providing technical information

  • Become a product expert in OAL’s technologies

  • Visit food manufacturers and OEMs



The role may require global travel from time to time to assist with trade shows, customer visits and commissioning.

  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel

  • Good working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint

  • High standard of written/verbal communication

  • Customer service skills

  • Sound administrative skills

  • Good communication skills

  • A good basic understanding of food preparation

  • Ability in another language would be advantageous



Future Prospects :

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will carry on to a Degree Apprenticeship which includes a BSc(Hons) as part of their job role with us.
