Job Description

Duties/responsibilities to include:




  • Booking both routine and urgent, on the day appointments

  • Cancelling/re-arranging appointments

  • Care navigation

  • Customer service

  • Welcoming and friendly approach to all

  • Complaints handling - initial contact

  • Ensure that quality, standards, and efficiency of our service are maintained at all times

  • Meet performance targets for speed, efficiency, and quality when responding to patient and staff requests

  • Issuing repeat prescriptions

  • Scanning letters onto the clinical system

  • Opening and closing the surgery

  • Working Saturday mornings (rota based)

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence

Skills Required :

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Experience of working in a call centre environment and have the willingness to undertake the appropriate training and induction including systems and data training

  • You will be also be highly organised, motivated, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service
