My client is a well-established, family run business and one of the most respected coaching and training businesses in Shropshire. Based in Bridgnorth, they provide advisory services, training and coaching to start-ups, businesses and entrepreneurs. They provide a fun work environment where enthusiasm for the mission, backed by the highest quality standards, is the order of the day.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing, Communications and Events Coordinator to join this small, friendly and efficient team. We need somebody who will be effective in getting consistent messaging and branding out to clients, prospects and media outlets as well as organising and event management of seminars and workshops. The role requires somebody with excellent organisation skills, obsessive attention to detail and oodles of passion!

There is a competitive starting salary of £18K - £22K with the opportunity to progress within the business based on results. Full-time or part-time hours may be accommodated (25 - 37.5 hours per week).

The role will include (but is not limited to):

  • Creating marketing and communications plans and calendars
  • Creating & coordinating online and offline marketing activities through a variety of media
  • Creating and distributing internal and external communications
  • Event management - including research & booking of venues, taking bookings, event communications etc
  • All associated administration including maintenance of CRM databases

You must have:

  • Either a graduate degree in appropriate field of study (Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, Business Management or similar) or previous marketing & events experience
  • Good working knowledge of CRM systems, email marketing tools & social media platforms for business
  • Excellent IT / typing skills
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team
  • Bags of enthusiasm
