Reports to: Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager
What you will be doing on a weekly basis
- Provide different service styles of food and drinks within the four different restaurants and bars, ensuring a high standard is maintained at all times to guests that reflects the company’s brand
- Ensure that the food and beverage is correctly presented and served in accordance with service procedures laid down by each restaurant manager and training manuals
- Ensure that the restaurant (or station) is fully laid up in accordance with standards and that all linen and tableware is of a high standard
- Being helpful and courteous towards customers
- Learning to recognise sales opportunities when they arise and act on them
- Serve your customers in a friendly, timely, relaxed yet professional and genuine manner
- Keep a restaurant section clean & tidy, including the floor area
- Learning how to deal effectively with customer feedback and complaints
- Learn how to maintain and further the excellence of the Hotel following statutory Food Safety, Licensing Laws and Health & Safety regulations
- Maintaining an organised, clean and safe work place, not only for yourself but also for those around you
- Continually building on product knowledge
- Prepare hot and cold beverages to company standard in each restaurant or bar

Future Prospects :
On successful completion of apprenticeship there may be an opportunity for a full time position.
