Job Description
Duties to include:
- Developing back and front-end tools
- Providing Helpdesk support to internal colleagues
- Using a ticket system and sticking to SLA’s
- VOIP Telephony installation and maintenance
- Network maintenance, upgrades and repairs when needed using hardware and software tools
- Working on cabling tasks ensuring H&S policies are adhered to
- Perform regular diagnostic work on the company network using tools provided
Personal Qualities :
- A strong interest in IT
- Willing to ask for help, when needed
- Proactive and willing to learn on apprenticeship and the job
- Helpful and friendly nature
Skills Required :
- Some basic IT knowledge of components, any network or cable knowledge is a bonus
- Good communication skills
- Confident telephone manner and customer-facing skills
- Someone who is learning to drive would be a benefit but not essential
Future Prospects :
There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
