Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Customer Centre Advisor Apprentice.



Duties will include;




  • Handling telephone contact from new and existing customers, both internal and external, regarding Anchor services

  • Provide an exceptional end to end ‘customer’ experience, at every touch point working to a principle of right first time

  • Through a ‘Sales through Service’ approach, you will confidently present to customers, opportunities to enhance our service provision

  • Achieve/exceed your personal targets therefore contributing to the overall Anchor business performance

  • Supported by your line manager, driving your own personal development within Anchor and in doing so make Anchor a ‘Great Place to Work’ therefore contributing to Anchor being an ‘Employer of Choice’

  • You will deliver an outstanding customer experience by embracing Anchor values and behaviours

  • An effective team player, you will identify opportunities and support colleagues throughout the department ensuring processes are handled effectively and efficiently



Each apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.



Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training, this will include the completion of functional skills in maths and English. They will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.

  • Ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal colleagues across all levels of the organisation.



Skills Required :

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft  Office applications, in particular Excel, Outlook and Word. Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage competing demand.

  • To be able to work towards managing your own workload by prioritising and multi-tasking.



Future Prospects :

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, this could lead to a permanent role.
