Job Description

The apprentice L & D Practitioner role supports the learning and development (L& D) function to contribute to and influence, as well as improve performance across the business at an individual, team and organisational level. 



Role Responsibilities:




  • Support, administer and contribute to the smooth running of new entrant programmes to Jungheinrich UK such as the Apprenticeship programme

  • Assist with contract relationships, quality assurance and record keeping of the Apprentice Levy Funded programmes

  • Prepare and support with seasonal events, such as Inductions for new entrants, Graduation events and internal programme workshops

  • Work with L&D Manager to maintain and contribute to wider CSR by attending careers/schools events

  • Collate the training and development needs from appraisal forms and liaise with the relevant departments to ensure the training takes place

  • Liaise with relevant departments to understand pipeline of future apprenticeship/ new entrant/ levy funded internal training requirements

  • Support L&D Manager with building a strong brand for the learning and development function in line with wider corporate strategy

  • Undertake and support the L&D Manager with internal L&D projects

  • Work with the L&D Manager to administer training and development processing with our internal eLearning CAMPUS platform, maintaining accurate training records

  • Further implementation of group-wide Training & Development programmes in cooperation with the national HR and the HR Development Corporate department in the Headquarter and the improvement of processes

  • Assist in the preparation of regular and adhoc management information

  • Recommend changes to the systems and procedures to improve efficiency of department



In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Learning & Development Manager and wider HR team.
