Job Description
Candidates will be offered the opportunity to work in a healthcare setting within the NHS. Candidates area of interest will be discussed with them fully at interview stage and every effort will be made to ensure that candidates are placed within their preferred area of interest. Candidate will be expected to be available for 3 full days on placement, details to be discussed at interview. This is an excellent opportunity to progress onto an apprenticeship within hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust, for the right candidate.
Take will include:
- Assisting with patients on the ward
- Assisting front-line staff in keeping the wards clean and tidy
- Ensuring that patients have their needs met
- Assisting with recreational patient recreational tasks
- Assisting with patient meal times
- Assisting with replenishment of stock and equipment, for front-line staff
A traineeship is a course with work experience that gets you ready for work or an apprenticeship. It can last up to 6 months.
You can apply if you’re:
- eligible to work in England
- unemployed and have little or no work experience
- aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 3
You’ll get:
- a work experience placement
- help with English and maths (if you need it)
You won’t be paid, but you may be given expenses for things like travel and meals.
