The main focus of Employer Engagement at the College is to deliver high impact apprenticeship solutions that exceed the expectations of businesses and individuals who engage with them. Apprenticeship delivery is at the heart of what they do, and they make a substantial contribution to the Government's apprenticeship strategy.
Establishing, maintaining and managing the recruitment process for 16-18 and 19 apprentices, the successful Apprentice Recruitment Officer will ensure that repeat business opportunities are achieved in a timely and efficient way. Carrying out telesales, marketing and direct sales to establish long term relationships with existing and new customers, you will be tasked with finding the right apprentice to meet the needs of their business; conducting company visits and developing proposals through liaison with the employer and Apprenticeship Skills team.
With experience of working in educational sales or recruitment agency industry and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, candidates must have the ability to work to achieve college KPIs and agreed targets and be self-motivated and able to work enthusiastically with minimal direction. Any knowledge of apprenticeship funding and levy would be beneficial to the role.
Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is required.
