Job Description

About Mishcon de Reya:
Based in London with offices in New York, Mishcon de Reya services an international community of clients and provides advice in situations where the constraints of geography often do not apply. The work we undertake is cross-border, multi-jurisdictional and complex.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Meeting and greeting clients in reception, client facing meeting rooms and lounge areas in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
• Looking after all internal and external clients when in FOH areas-providing directions, support and care
• Working with extremely confidential information
• Maintaining all FOH areas at all times-restocking literature, newspapers and making sure the areas are tidy
• In communication with Concierge team making sure early or late arrivals are looked after, offered refreshments and escorted to appropriate meeting rooms
• Using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Manhattan room booking and ARC Console switchboard systems
• Ensuring the meeting rooms are prepared, vacated on time and any maintenance issues are reported.
• Maintaining stationery and necessary equipment in the meeting rooms
• Re-directing and screening the calls as appropriate and taking adequate messages when required
• Accommodating, managing and processing the high volume meeting room requests when received via email or phone call
• Knowing the type, location, size and layout of the meeting rooms available and accommodating all requests to the best availability/demand
• Creating and maintaining the reservations records, communicating the information to the host
• Ad-hoc admin tasks as and when required

Skills required:
• Excellent Organisational skills
• A genuine interest in understanding how businesses (and particularly Law Firms) operate.
• Strong IT skills with an aptitude to learn new software.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Personable and confident, able to build relationships with partners/ key stakeholders

Personal qualities:
• Genuine interest to develop a career in a customer service environment is essential.
• A dynamic and driven individual who demonstrates a positive and 'can-do' attitude.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work, happy to get stuck in to all aspects of the role.
• Enjoys working as part of a team as well as independently.
• Self-motivated and disciplined to be able to juggle academic deadlines with their workload.

Entry requirements:

• Five GCSE grades C - A* (or 4-9), including Maths and English

• Good knowledge of IT packages e.g Microsoft Office, Google Docs/Sheets etc.
