Trainee Kitchen Appliance Installer

A bit about them
An exciting opportunity to join our client's Appliance Installation team as a Trainee Kitchen Appliance Installer. They are a family business that has grown into the UK's leading Appliance Installation Distributor. The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the Installer by ensuring a clean and tidy workspace, helping with installations and driving the company van.

What you'll do
Key areas of responsibility will be:
• Supporting Installer with necessary checks prior to leaving their RDC including checking appliances against the manifests, ensuring correct PPE is ready, all necessary paperwork is ready and any other relevant items are in place.
• Assist installer with driving to and from site where requested.
Carry out pre-installation checks on plots to ensure everything is prepared before taking appliances to the plot; including live services and kitchens completed.
• Assist installer with installation of appliances/kitchens. Ensure all of your work is carried out as per training and appliance installation manual.
• Follow instructions of installer at all times, ensuring any other duties are carried out diligently.
• Ensure plots are left in the same condition they were found prior to leaving site. Supporting installer with any administration required including signing of all necessary paperwork.

• Resilient in the face of adversity - able to overcome issues in a constructive manner.
• Literate with a good knowledge of English both verbal and written.
• Full driving license (3 points max).
• CSCS card desirable but not essential.

Salary: £19,500 - £23,500 with competitive benefits and bonus
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 45 hours per week, between the hours of 5:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
Contract type: Permanent
