Job Description
You will be working under the direction of a teacher who has overall responsibility for teaching and learning in the classroom.
- You will contribute to planning, implementing and evaluating learning activities and will work alongside the teacher to support whole class activities, as well as working on your own with individuals, or groups of, pupils
- You will be expected to prepare classrooms for teaching sessions, ensuring all learning materials are available for the set lesson also to work with the class teacher to ensure the smooth delivery of the lesson
- During the apprenticeship you will learn to support with the development of the young people to reach their education potential
You will be expected to follow data protection, safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times. You will be expected to attend Bishop Auckland College one day per week, you will be expected to produce course work on time and to a high standard.
