Job Description

Weymouth English Centre is a friendly, family-run school that offers English courses to international teenagers during their summer holidays. We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of EnglishUK.

Together with a team of teachers, activity leaders and others, we aim to provide quality lessons, accommodation, activities and care.

We are looking for an Activities Team Leader to join our team for the summer of 2019 between 26th June and 10th August.

Accommodation on a self-catering basis can be provided where required.

The main responsibilities of the job are:

  • coordinating the programme of activities and trips
  • ensuring that Activity Leaders are properly prepared
  • managing the staff rota
  • holding regular meetings / feedback sessions with the Activity Leaders and assessing their performance
  • holding regular meetings for the foreign group leaders
  • coordinating the testing and class allocation each Monday morning
  • coordinating the student programme planning sessions

  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
