Job Description

Home of the Royals and host to the London Irish, Madejski Stadium has a packed calendar of Football and Rugby fixtures along with a whole host of events in the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre.

While 11 players entertain the crowd on the pitch, it takes a stronger, mightier team to deliver legendary service across our Hospitality department. With 9 Restaurants and Lounges as well as 28 executive boxes across the stadium we need passionate, enthusiastic, hardworking team players to head up the large scale service operation.

Do you have what it takes to take ownership and manage one of our restaurants or Lounges on a match day in a fast paced, energetic environment, with a wide range of styles from fine dining to a Premium retail bar?

To manage the performance of team members and support ongoing business development. To ensure all tasks associated with food production, Front and back of house services and any general services are carried out with due regards to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Please note the start of the Season is 28th July, with a training and induction session held mid July.

Qualifications

  • •Be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues •Ensure highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times. •Demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed expectations •To maximize sales opportunities through selling techniques •To acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise customers on product choice •Gain feedback to provide to line manager •Experience in Hospitality management, Banqueting or fine dining restaurants •Knowledge of wines and food pairing would be beneficial •Strong communicator, who is used to building robust relationships with clients, senior management and employees •Passionate about 5 star food quality and customer service •Exceptional attention to detail •Organised, proactive and self motivated •Innovative and creative in approach BENEFITS: • Competitive wage with weekly pay. • Bonus scheme based on performance. • Flexible work to fit around your commitments
