Job Description

Are you an energetic and approachable individual who also enjoys getting involved in trips, sports and activities? Do you want to contribute to deliver a great and fun experience for our young learners students? Then this the right position for you!
IH London is currently recruiting for activity leaders for our YL summer school located in Moulton (Northampton) from 30th June to 31st July 2019.
The role is residential and the package includes a competitive salary and full board options.

As well as large modern classrooms, the college has two large indoor sports halls, a full range of outdoor sports pitches, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a dance studio. There is also an animal welfare centre, which students visit as part of our new course Animal Care.

The accommodation is all new, with single ensuite bedrooms. There are lots of social spaces on campus, including a large hall and common room for evening activities.

Duties

Social
~ Fully organise, supervise either afternoon or evening activities as per your timetable
~ Participate in all activities enthusiastically
~ Accompany and supervise students on excursions
~ Attend to safety and welfare of students on activities and excursions
~ Promote language learning opportunity on all activities and excursions

Pastoral
~ Perform all residential duties punctually and professionally
~ Be aware of your duties as per the weekly timetable

Qualifications

  • Expereince in working with teenagers.
    Sports coaching qualifications are desirable.
  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
