Skills Required :
- A keen interest in cooking
- Able to understand and follow instructions
- Able to keep calm when working under pressure – the kitchen is a hot and hectic place during service periods
- Hardworking and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Good common sense and understanding of basic health and safety requirements – for example washing hands, clearing spills (more will be taught throughout the induction and on-going throughout the apprenticeship but a basis understanding from the outset is very important)
