Job Description

Exciting position for an experienced tele-sales executive with a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the luxury sector.

About Us

We're an online platform providing great editorial content and lots of brand promotion opportunities through subscriptions and advertising. We're 100% digital, very international in our outlook and focused entirely on the luxury sector.

Brands featured on our website include well-known international names, along with several high-end boutique/niche brands. Tidlrs provides a dynamic, content-rich platform for businesses to feature and promote their brands, products, services and related editorial via an inspiring, informative and content-led website, thoughtfully tailored to the exacting needs of luxury brands and consumers.

This engaging mix creates a truly exceptional website experience with a refined aesthetic, which provides immersive hub for users to discover and explore the world of luxury.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced tele-sales professional, with consummate experience in the luxury sector, to take responsibility for developing our B2B sales to luxury brands, promoting Tidlrs as an innovative online platform which they can join and integrate as a valuable tool within their digital marketing mix.

Responsibilities

Liaising with our Managing Director in London, and our editorial management in Paris, you will be solely responsible for all sales and business development activities associated with Tidlrs.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience: at least 3 years' tele-sales-driven and results-oriented experience in a luxury-related role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • An understanding of the luxury environment
  • Excellent communication, keen attention to detail, and great administrative, planning and prospecting skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Self-motivated, ambitious go-getter; someone who isn't afraid to cold call and win new business, although you must also have the maturity to manage and develop accounts from first contact
  • Confident, eloquent speaker who can represent Tidlrs professionally, communicate convincingly with luxury brands across a range of different niches and articulate a compelling value proposition to them, built around advertising /advertorial opportunities with Tidlrs.
  • Digitally experienced. You can speak authoritatively to brands - many new to e-commerce and digital marketing or with existing, in-house e-commerce operations - about why a digital offering with us presents a compelling choice. A good understanding of the digital sales scene in particular - PPC, SEO, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc; and setting and sticking to targeting and re-targeting strategies, analytics, keyword searching
  • An efficient multi-tasker with superior time/project management skills; reliable, and able to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure and help to drive all service KPIs and ensure business goals are met
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Drive and generally computer literate; strong numerical skills
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Willing and able to travel within Europe based on prospects' needs and requests, and for sales/editorial meetings and luxury trade events as required

Preferable but not essential

  • University degree in a related field
  • Existing contacts in the luxury sector and a good relationship with luxury brands and executives would be a big advantage
  • Proficiency in French, German, Italian or Mandarin
  • Based in either the UK (London) or France (Paris).

Contract Type & Details

  • The role is freelance, part-time and hours are flexible, so long as you cover core work periods. So, you might work an hour or two in the morning and some hours in the afternoon, and you might want to vary this from time to time to fit in with family or other commitments
  • We envisage a 4-hour day, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm. If you're based outside the UK then we'll discuss and try to agree how the timing might work for us both
  • Probation period: 2 months
  • The role might develop into full-time

Competitive Salary

  • Up to £12,000 p.a. subject to you hitting agreed sales targets (*specific KPIs and monthly quotas will be discussed at the interview stage)

Drop us an email with your CV and evidence of the skills above and I'll respond to you directly if your profile is right for the position. If you are shortlisted for interview, then we'll also connect with our editorial director to continue the conversation.
