Graduate Electrical Engineer

Company:

This Cheshire based company specialises in flow chemistry. As part of their continued expansion programme, the company is looking to recruit a Graduate Electrical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious individual to join a rapidly growing company in an expanding area of new technology.

Position:

This is a hands on position with a focus of learning on the job. It is for an immediate start, based at their business premises in Runcorn, Cheshire. The work will be to aid in the design, manufacture, assembly and testing of the Coflore™ flow reactor technology.

Duties will include:

- Working within the engineering team helping to design and build control systems from concept through to production

- Working with a range of control systems and peripheral equipment such as pumps, instruments and sensors

- Providing technical support and training to colleagues and customers

The Ideal Candidate:

- BEng/HNC with some industrial experience preferred
- Experience of using a 2D CAD package to produce engineering drawings
- Experience of instrumentation, sensors and control engineering
- Experience of PLC programming using ladder logic would be advantageous
- Experience of panel wiring and commissioning
- Knowledge of building machinery and processing equipment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of working to ISO 9001, Kaizen, Six Sigma or similar quality system
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good maths and written skills
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team managing own workload
- The ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them to engineering problems
- English and basic knowledge of an additional language preferable
- A UK driving licence and own car (travel will be reimbursed)
- Applicants must be able to live and work in the UK
- Candidates with no previous engineering work experience, but who can demonstrate an aptitude for engineering are also encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be required on occasion to travel to supplier and customer sites where necessary, both within the UK and abroad.

Salary:
Salary £19-24K depending on experience and skills
