Job Description

A leading agency are looking for a Junior Editor / Digital Designer with at least 2 years' experience to be an integral part of our design and multimedia team. You'll be creating a diverse range of engaging visual content for our huge world-famous clients' websites and social channels.

Main responsibilities of the Junior Editor / Designer

• Assisting the creative and senior creative producer on preparation for stills and video shoots - including logging, assembling, and assisting with edits

• Working on post production, retouch notes, delivery of assets and distribution throughout the business

• Contribute to editorial meetings with updates of creative briefs and treatments

• Create static digital content for websites and social platforms

• Design and illustrate infographics/graphics

• Create assets for motion designers

• Support new business development with mock ups

• Sketch storyboards for the multimedia team's films/animations

Experience and skills of the Junior Editor / Designer

Essential

• 1 - 2 years work experience in a post-production environment

• Knowledge of photo and video shoots and working with freelancers

• Confident in use of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects

• Proactive individual who is quick to react

• Attitude - wants to learn and grow through the process

• Excellent research and presentation skills

• Excellent eye for detail

• Confident working with people across all levels of the business and liaising with external contacts

• A proven ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail

• Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills

• Highly organised, self-motivated with lots of initiative

• Experience creating content for websites and different social platforms

Desirable

• Graphic design, including infographics

• Illustration skills (particularly sketching and vector artwork)

• Typography

• Storyboarding

• Photo-editing and resizing

• JavaScript/HTML5/CSS a major bonus (particularly Hype Tumult)

• Animation experience a bonus (After Effects) - or at least understanding the process as designs will often be turned into animations/motion graphics
