This Apprentice role is an ideal opportunity for you to join Ricoh UK and train to be a Field Service Technician on a Level 3 Apprenticeship where you will support our clients and customers in your assigned region.

This role is a field based role in the Northampton area. Must hold full driving licence.

What you will be doing

It will be your job to provide customers with a professional, efficient maintenance and repair service to Ricoh customers in your assigned region.

• As a a Trainee, you must successfully complete the field Service Hardware Training and complete the Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship training programme, which is 15 months in duration.
• To provide a technical service to customers, including installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• To ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
• To maximise revenue by identifying potential business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day-to-day duties.
• Management and control of vehicle stock, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and to minimise stock losses.

You will ideally have

• Good knowledge of electrical/ mechanical engineering,
• Full and clean Driving Licence - company vehicle will be provided
• Proficient IT skills
• Have a proactive and open minded attitude
• Must be a team player
• Must possess the ability to demonstrate commitment and flexibility at all times
• Excellent Interpersonal and customer handling skills
• A desire to learn within a fast paced and varied role
• Self-motivated
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Logical and analytical thinking
